My name is FT Bletsas and I live in Greece. In recent years, avocado cultivation in Greece has been increasing constantly, especially in the island of Crete. Although it is not a popular ingredient in Greek cuisine, people has started using it mainly for its great health benefits. I personally adore avocado and I certainly include it in my top 5 foods list. Greek Avocados, especially the organic ones available, have a really distinct taste that you will love. If you ever come to Greece, try to find some in an open farmers market or a good super market.
I created this page to share my passion for Avocado. Here you will find lots of information and many recipes that will give you lots of ideas for preparing great dishes using avocado.
